I am Associate Professor of Classics and Ancient Studies at Barnard College, Columbia University. I am also the Editor of the American Journal of Philology.
I have broad interests in Greek antiquity and its complex modern afterlife. My research focuses on two main areas: ancient Greek drama and the reception of Greece and Rome across the Americas. I have over fifteen years of experience teaching and convening a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in Classics, Classical Reception Studies, and Liberal Arts at various universities on both sides of the Atlantic. I am passionate about interdisciplinary and innovative research and pedagogy in the Humanities. |
